Day 1 · Tokyo Awaits

Your journey begins the moment you step off the plane. A private driver greets you at the arrival gate and whisks you through the city to your hotel in central Tokyo. There’s no fumbling with train maps or dragging luggage through stations — just a smooth, comfortable ride while the Tokyo skyline unfolds through your window.

The rest of the day is yours. If jet lag allows, step outside for an evening stroll through the glittering streets of Ginza, where department store windows glow like art galleries and the aroma of yakitori drifts from narrow alleyways.

Day 2 · A Tale of Two Tokyos

Tokyo is a city of contrasts, and today you’ll experience both sides. The morning begins at Senso-ji, Tokyo’s oldest temple. Walk through the iconic Kaminarimon gate, past the rows of traditional craft shops on Nakamise-dori, and into the incense-filled temple grounds — a pocket of serenity in the middle of one of the world’s busiest cities.

Then the tempo shifts. Your driver takes you through Shibuya’s famous scramble crossing, past the fashion boutiques of Harajuku, and into the upscale elegance of Ginza. A drive past the Imperial Palace grounds and a glimpse of Tokyo Tower complete the picture.

By evening, you’re heading northwest — leaving the concrete behind for the cool, forested highlands of Karuizawa.

Mitsui no Mori Karuizawa Country Club sits on a plateau surrounded by birch forests and mountain air so clean it almost tastes sweet. If yesterday was about serenity, today is about challenge.

Yoshii Country Club is one of Japan’s most respected courses — a place where the greens are immaculate, the fairways demand precision, and every hole presents a new conversation between you and the landscape. The course winds through valleys and ridges, offering panoramic views that make you forget you’re keeping score.

After eighteen holes of pure focus, you’ve earned your evening soak. Back at the Kusatsu ryokan, slip into the outdoor rotenburo bath and let the mineral-rich waters work their magic. Watch the steam rise against the evening sky and replay your best shots in your mind.

Day 5 · Tokyo Shopping

Today is a change of pace. You trade fairways for flagships as you return to Tokyo for a full day of shopping.

Ginza offers luxury brands in architectural showpieces. Omotesando is Tokyo’s answer to the Champs-Élysées — tree-lined avenues with designer boutiques and concept stores. And Shibuya brings streetwear, vintage finds, and the buzzing energy of youth culture.
